Dear Dairy:

Man, am I sick of polls. Seems like there’s a new one every day: most Americans hate the war, hate my strategy, think we’re on the wrong track, think the invasion was a mistake, think the war has made us less safe, and disapprove of me personally.

Well, the Presidency is not a popularity contest. If it were, we would’ve counted all the votes.

I personally thought much more highly of the validity and accuracy of polls when they were more positive towards me and my policies. They don’t make ‘em like that anymore! I don’t see why they had to do new ones when the old ones were perfectly good.
