Dear Dairy:

The House Judiciary Committee voted to prosecute Josh Bolton and Harriet Miers for contempt of Congress. Man, I miss the docile rubber stamp gang of the old majority. This group needs a recess bad. Go live a little; ride your bikes, clear some brush. I’ve got some recess appointments to make anyway.

I can’t figure this Democrat-led Congress out. They get mad if we don’t show up to testify; they get mad if we do show up and can’t seem to recall anything. They get mad if they ask questions and we refuse to answer; they get mad if they ask questions and our answers contradict the facts of our own sworn testimony and the sworn testimony of others. There’s no pleasing them either way!

Maybe they shouldn’t ask questions they don’t like the non- or inaccurate answers to!
